It’s spring and we are ready to play in Lawrence with the incredible Mire Pral. Gypsy jazz wizards and monsters musicians of the LFK music scene will open for us (somebody made a mistake there but we’re not complaining) on Friday May 20th at 6PM.
What the hell is gypsy jazz? This style of music originated in Europe around the 1930s-40s. Ever heard of Django Reinhardt? That’s the ticket. Parisian Swing. Get ready for a sickeningly wonderful set of uplifting instrumental music that’ll transport you to another time and place.
